An image shared on X allegedly shows actor Keanu Reeves holding up a shirt with an image of former President Donald Trump and the text “Never stop fighting to save America.”

Verdict: False

The image has been digitally altered. The original photo of Reeves, available via Getty Images, shows him with his arms at his sides, not holding anything.

Fact Check:

Reeves will have a cameo in a spinoff film of the “John Wick” series titled “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” which will star actress Ana de Armas, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is expected to premiere in theaters on June 6, 2025 and will be the fifth installment in the series, the outlet reported.

An X image appears to show Reeves holding up a red-colored shirt with an image of Trump surrounded by Secret Service agents, which was taken during the assassination attempt against him in July. “Never stop fighting to save America,” the shirt’s text reads.

“Keenu (sic) Reeves joined the Trump train,” the caption reads.

This is not a genuine image, however. The photo has been edited from a picture of Reeves seen on Getty Images. It shows Reeves simply looking towards the camera, not holding up a shirt. Inputting the image into TinEye shows more images of Reeves holding up shirts that have been similarly edited.
